The biggest Slovak skiing resort. There are 14 lifts, 7 chairlifts, and 1 cabin lift available for skiers.The full capacity is 19 300 people per hour. Jasna ski resort is very well equipped with dinning and sport facilities. Superelevation: 855-2005 above the sea level. Available are all kinds of slope difficulty: light, medium, and difficult. Thermal pools, six pools open all year round. In the pools there is water with 36-40 C which has beneficial effects on motion and respiratory organs. Massages, beach volleyball. Restaurant directly in pools.
Two caves Demanovska jaskyna slobody - Demanovska cave of freedom and Demanovska ladova jaskyna - Demanovska ice cave are situated in valley Demanovska dolina and their length is 1800 and 650 meters.
Activities: swimming, surfing, yachting, windsurfing school, rowing, water bicycles, mini golf, fishing and boat cruises for max 50 persons, which takes 1 hour. Other recreation centres on the bank of Liptovska Mara dam are in Bobrovnik, Liptovska Sielnica, little port in Liptovsky Trnovec, the church Liptovska Mara and restaurant Salaš Dechtare.
Archeological locality situated on the hill Ulozisko near the water dam Liptovska Mara. Here were found the settlement from the Iron Age. These days the reconstruction of the Celts part with sacrifice place is running. The objects were restored and create open air archeological museum.
Ski resort Skipark Ružomberok is situated on the hillsides of Veľká Fatra above the town of Ružomberok in heigth ranging from 545 to 1209 above the sea level, 2 km from the town center. The entrance gate of the resort is Hrabovo. There is 8 cabin lift which leads to Malinô Brdo. Another 4 chairs lift, with capacity of 2400 people per hour, was built in last years. This chair lift was added to 3 skilifts lifts. Resort has also 4 kids lifts.
This ski resort is situated in the Western Tatras - Roháče, the most beautiful region of Slovak Tatras. It in the valley below Salatín mountain. The resort is visited by Polish tourists, and offers all kinds of slopes. All needed facilities such as dinning, ski rent, parking are available.
